As a self-employed handyman, Rien Stas was asked to hang art in the early 1990s. He delved into the existing picture hanging systems and quickly came to the conclusion that he could do it better himself...

In 1995, Rien, together with his brother André, founded STAS picture hanging systems. Rien focuses on development and André takes over the general management of the company. The range is growing rapidly and the innovations in the field of picture hanging systems clearly meet a need in the market because they have been a resounding success from the start! STAS innovates based on the philosophy: a suitable solution for every situation.

The smart hanging solutions are often patented and STAS has won various awards. We are not only successful in the Netherlands, we are also making a name for ourselves worldwide and export to more than 50 countries in the world! STAS has now grown strongly, thanks to all our customers. We will continue to innovate in the coming years!

During the international inventors fair in Geneva (Salon International des Inventions), STAS won the gold medal for the SmartSpring hanging hook.

In 2001, the important predicate 'Good Industrial Design' was awarded to the STAS cobra in Amsterdam.

The patented STAS mini rail hanging system has won the prestigious Best New Product Award for Decorative Accessories. This important Award is awarded to products for the interior design industry that distinguish themselves in good design, functionality and sustainability. The Award was presented for the 21st time during the designEX fair in Melbourne.

The STAS multirail was included in the SME Innovation Top 100 in 2012. This top 100 is seen as the largest and most important innovation prize for SME companies.

In addition, STAS now has more than 20 patented products in its range. STAS has also initiated new developments for the future. STAS strives to remain an innovative market leader in the coming years!
